Emerging Technologies

Technology innovation is an ongoing process and effective integration of technology is key to its success.

UIS’ Emerging Technologies Group examines a range of technologies expected to become important applications within the next two to five years. We explore the concepts, standards, operations and applications of these new technologies and their potential for integration and benefit to the Harvard Community.

The potential of these emerging technologies to improve practice, collaboration, communication and to enhance the content and delivery of education are assessed, most often through hands-on pilot programs. The outcomes and experience gained from these evaluations provides an important funnel for strategic planning & development of IT initiatives at Harvard.

Come explore some of these emerging technologies and pilot programs at Harvard University.
